Petitions to sign

Please take a moment and sign the following petitions. Every signature counts. If you would be willing to share any of these petitions on social media it would be very much appreciated as well. Thank you for the help.

This petition is asking Florida Governor Rick Scott to pardon Ryan Holle. Read more about Ryan’s case here.

This is my petition asking Florida State Attorney Angela Corey to reverse her decision to try Cristian Fernandez as an adult. He was 12 when charged in the unintentional death of his brother.

Melissa Shuler and I started a petition to abolish the felony murder rule in Florida. This is the same doctrine responsible for Ryan Holle’s sentence of life without parole, Curtis’s wrongful conviction, and Cristian’s egregious charges.

Here is Melissa’s petition for Curtis also.

This is my petition asking for justice for Josh Young. Part of the petition was answered when Josh Gouker was finally indicted. However, even though Gouker has admitted to committing the crime and that his son was not involved, Josh remains charged as an adult.

Kirstin Blaise Lobato was wrongfully convicted in the state of Nevada for a crime she did not commit. She has alibi witnesses to support that she was 170 miles from the location where the crime occurred when it happened. Her case is a true injustice, but you can help to change her fate by signing the petition Michelle started for her. Read her story here.

Martin Anthony Villalon was convicted of murder based on conflicting eyewitness testimony. He was waived into adult court by a Magistrate. His grandmother started a petition asking that the Supreme Court allow Anthony to have a jury trial in juvenile court. If the Supreme Court rules in Anthony’s favor it will mean other juveniles in Indiana (and possibly other states) would have the ability to ask for a jury trial in juvenile court to determine if their case should be waived into adult court.
